What we make

Turned components for the foundry industry

Most of what leaves this shop goes into foundry equipment. If your part is round, threaded, or has to slide and stay square, it is the kind of work we do every week.

Screws

Threaded components cut and finished complete, including off-centre and cross-drilled features done in the same setup.

Bushings

Bored and turned to fit, with bore and outside diameter held concentric because both are cut without re-fixturing.

Guide rods

Long, straight turned parts where finish and diameter consistency decide whether the assembly moves freely.

The machine

One lathe that does the work of a lathe and a mill

A sub-spindle hands the part from one side to the other without an operator touching it, so parts that would normally take several operations come off complete. Fewer setups is fewer chances to introduce error.

Quality is never outsourced here. The same person who wrote the program and ran the part measures it before it ships — which is only possible at this size, and is the reason to use a shop this size.
